- Lifetime of unit : 7 to 8 years on average (3 to 5 for a PC based configuration)
- Important choices for installations:
- Thermal receipts + laser written documents and cheque editor
- Thermal receipts + documents on the register + cheques on the register
- Laser pistol (wired/wire-less) and/or a fixed scanner
- Pereniality of developments (Windows Opos-Ibm, Opos-Symbol) guarantees the smooth evolution of the system using Lynx 360®° with respect to future POS hardware or new perirpheral components.
- Registers tested in real, in-store configurations: elevated temperatures, physical shocks to the hard disk by drawer activity, dust, dirt, variations (and cuts) in local power grid.
- Respet the brand image of the shop by a clean and compact appearance (cables are hidden and secured).
- Interactive transactions: balance due is sent directly to the card reader (or cheque editor) with payment acceptation control. (No re-entry needed at the POS).
