Communication

• Ethernet (cabled)
  Normal mode of use of the Lynx 360®° software. The speediest mode available gives the fastest
  possibilities for management (image printing, ... )
• Wireless Ethernet
  
  • PortablePCs/Laptops
    Connection of a laptop directly to the shop's wireless network. Very practical for a manager who is constantly on the move within the outlet. The same operations are possible as from a fixed post, only the connectivity speed is slightly less.
  • PDA / post
    New hardware running only by wireless.
• Nomade
  Allows free-movement of an entire copy of the Lynx 360®° database (items / statistics / registers / ...) enabling consultation or analysis on a portable computer. The transfer takes place over a netwok connection.
• VPN ADSL
  Permits connections to distant machines via the internet. This mode will be usually chosen for the consultation of data (from the home of the store manager, for example).
• Private Line (Oléane,...)
  Setting up of a private network between many shops. The connection speed is worked out as a function of the client's needs. The connection is guaranteed with specifics as to a minimum acceptable speed and a maximum acceptable repare time in the unlikely event of connection loss.
  The normal exploitation of the application is possible, the speed of processing is directly linked to the network speed chosen.
